If you’re planning on hosting this season, an impactful centerpiece is sure to elevate your tablescape. Go Natural
We start our design with a modern resin trough by Tina Frey in color nude. This amazing collection of handmade and handcast resin pieces in the perfect base for our sustainable collection. After filling the trough with water, we strategically line the base of the vessel with white branches. Bunches of waxflower and garden roses are then inserted within the branches in an organic fashion.
Add Your Accents
To add scale, mini white pumpkins are then placed into the piece. The look is finished by adding in faux acorns as seasonal elements. Depending on your preference, you could also add in gourds, walnuts, or any other natural accent in the appropriate scale. The piece truly comes together with an accent object to offset the floral. Adjust heights and positions as needed and then you’re ready to design the rest of your table.
Consider Texture
With such a muted color palette, we’re very dependent on textures to create dimension and contrast. A velvet linen in a caramel color is the perfect base of this setting. The rich color perfectly accents the centerpiece and adds a bold kick. We positioned more pumpkins in varying size and textures surrounding the centerpiece. Scatter some additional acorns to help tie the whole look together.
Finishing Touches
We set the table with vintage Bennington plates from 19th century. This gorgeous, handcrafted pottery is substantial and works so beautifully with the overall look. Mix and matching varying sizes and styles of the same pottery creates a nice layer. Taper candles in a matching color add warmth. A match cloche in amber glass adds a modern touch. The jewel-toned glass by Skeem with vintage design inspiration is both practical and can double as a favor for your dinner guests.
