There is a special kind of calm and beauty found in the January Garden. The crisp silence of the new year air magnifies the bird song and wraps the spirit in the now. Our lungs feel life in the bright air. It is in these moments that we will, in the now, find peace and direction to chart our ways through burgeoning 2025 season. Cheers to charting healthy paths and the follow through for all good intentions set forth.   
 
And cheers we must share from our internal fleurdetroit team!  
 
Each year a person from our fleurdetroit team is chosen to receive the “person of the year” award. Each year’s recipient exudes that special something and adds so much to the ecosystem at fleurdetroit. This year, Tracy was chosen. Tracy weaves the magic behind the scenes, capturing design through her artistic lens and shares her talents through our marketing platforms. In truth, Tracy dives in when she sees help or direction needed. Joe and I have claimed her as a sister! She wears a few hats in the organization, always keeping the atmosphere light and fun. Everyone at FD celebrates Tracy and her talents and all of us celebrate her beautiful spirit. 
 
This year we also handed out our very first, “Keystone” award to Matt. Many of you know Matt and can attest to him being a perfect choice. Always willing to lend a hand, if possible, Matt is also dependable and consistently kind. Everyone goes to Matt when help is needed! The award is rightly given to Matt for the balance and aid he gives too so many in our organization and the extra he brings to the projects. For many reasons we celebrate Matt and today we congratulate him and thank him for everything he contributes to the organization and to all our personal stories at FD. 

As we celebrate those relationships around us, we begin our journeys into 2025. Joe and I wish whole heartedly to each and all, a very healthy year ahead filled with laughter and strength to tackle anything that may come. We appreciate all that have supported us and the teams at fleurdetroit. May the 2025 season be kind to all!
