As florists and designers, we create floral arrangements and tablescapes for many of our clients and the gatherings that mark life’s special moments. Holidays like birthdays and welcoming new babies often include fresh flowers to add beauty and excitement to the celebration. Other occasions, such as sympathy, call for florals that provide beauty and a sense of honor and reflection.
Rosh Hashanah is a celebration of renewal and reflection that marks the beginning of the Jewish High Holy Days. Known as the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah is a time of meaningful introspection and reflection on the year ahead.
During Rosh Hashanah gatherings, families come together to enjoy festive meals filled with symbolic foods, such as apples dipped in honey, representing hope and sweetness for the coming year. Rosh Hashanah tables may also feature beautiful dishes, florals, and atmospheric candles, creating a warm and festive setting for gathering and reflection.
Rosh Hashanah lasted from Friday, September 11, at sundown through nightfall on Sunday, September 13. Our team created a design inspired by the themes and symbolism of the holiday. We incorporated apples and honey alongside rich shades of red, rust, and burnt orange to create a tablescape that evokes warmth, renewal, and reflection.
Styled to inspire.
Shana Tova to our friends who joined us in honoring and reflecting on this Holy Day.
